Introducing MeetBach 🍲❤️

A new initiative from Chabad Jewish Center of Shoreline dedicated to bringing freshly prepared, hot kosher meals to those in need throughout our community — while also bringing people together in the process.

MeetBach is more than a soup kitchen. It’s an opportunity for connection, kindness, and community growth. We’re especially excited to engage teens looking for volunteer hours, giving them a meaningful way to help prepare and distribute meals while building friendships and strengthening community bonds.

✨ Volunteers who participate consistently will also enjoy fun community appreciation outings and special thank-you experiences throughout the year!

Today, Mayor Betsy Robertson issued a proclamation recognizing the month of May as Jewish American Heritage Month in Shoreline.

It was a distinct honor for Rabbi Sadya to accept this significant proclamation on behalf of the Jewish community. We extend our gratitude to Mayor Robertson.

A special thanks to Council Member Keith Scully and Nevet Basker from Washingtonians for a Brighter Future for their efforts in spearheading this proclamation locally.

Representatives from AJC Seattle were invited to participate in this special council meeting as well, and we appreciate their involvement!
