Every Friday in Lent St Mark Parish hosts a salmon dinner after Stations of the Cross. This week our conference did the serving and cleanup. 195 served! Come out and join each week - great way to get to know your community.

Our conference has been busy! Last Saturday was our first “drive and go” food drive. Thanks to all who helped out! Stay tuned for more events like this!

The St. Mark Conference of St. Vincent de Paul extends our very heartfelt thanks to St. Mark Parish and St. Mark Catholic Classical School for your support during the Christmas Basket Program.

With your help with food, sponsorship, donations and prayers, we were able to:
* Directly support 72 families with supplies, dinner and fresh produce.
* Add $1,500 to the SVDP treasury that is used for help with neighbor rent, utilities and gas/gift cards.
* Fill the pantry to overflowing! Seriously - overflow onto the stage in the school - WOW!

Special shout-out thank you to:
* The Heritage Girls who rocked the sorting of the produce and helped with QC on the baskets!
* The Boy Scouts who provided necessary strength in accepting drop off food, and quickly getting it to assigned tables.
* A lovely parishioner who hand knitted scarves for 40 families.
* A generous parishioner who provided all the produce.
* Countless volunteers who helped sort, quality check, drive and deliver food - and cleanup!

This program simply could not happen without each of you.

2025 St. Mark Conference - St. Vincent de Paul
Christmas Basket Program

Please join us again this year in support of our neighbors in need by getting involved with the Christmas Basket Program.

As always, our theme is “Many Ways to Help” - this means that everyone has a way to help with this event; from volunteering, sponsoring, donating or praying for us in this special time of year.

This year’s event is December 13, at 8:00 a.m. in the St. Mark Gym.

In past years we’ve been able to provide over 80 families with a full meal and supplies. The hope is to meet or exceed that goal again this year.

Signups to sponsor a family will be after Masses Nov. 15/16 and Nov. 22/23 in Sullivan Hall. You can also signup to volunteer, purchase scrip to add to a basket or make a monetary donation directly with our conference volunteers at that time.

If those weekends don’t work for you, or you need some time to think things over, we are offering an online form which lets you choose your way to help and then a conference volunteer will get back to you with more information! Click the form below to respond:

We are doing a Food and Fund drive all of October as we head into the holidays to get the pantry ready for increased need. Especially needed right now:

Paper towels
Canned tuna
All kinds of household cleaners

Pantry items we need right now include: diaper wipes, tuna fish, mayonnaise, canned fruit, bottled water, shelf stable milk, oil, salt, pepper.
If you can help, please either drop off in the SVDP basket in the vestibule or, use our online list and have it delivered to the pantry directly!
