Thanks to your help we served 140 people in May! This week in the pantry we are running low on dish soap, windex, laundry soap and canned fruit. Where can I get these items? Use our Amazon wish list and have the items delivered to our pantry directly! How easy is that??

Hi St. Mark families, Bethany Chafe here popping in with some exciting news and a little friendly nudge! 🦁

First, WE HIT 30% OF OUR GOAL over the weekend and that is worth celebrating! NICE WORK!!!

This community showed up over the weekend and it shows.

And just a reminder that while our Jog-A-Thon is on Wednesday May 6th, donations through 99pledges are open through May 22nd so there is still plenty of time to reach out and collect pledges! 💛

Now I have to share something because I am so excited about it. I personally reached out to several local businesses including our family's dentist and naturopathic doctor, shared the love we have for St. Mark, our students' $20,000 goal, and asked if they would consider sponsoring our Jog-A-Thon. We received TWO sponsorships back and friends, it was that simple. Sometimes you just have to ask!

We have two sponsorship tiers available. A $250 Bronze sponsorship earns a shoutout on our page and a $500 Silver sponsorship includes a shoutout plus their logo on our Jog-A-Thon website. You can scroll to the bottom of our Jog-A-Thon page to see them featured right now!

Here is the best part. LISTEN UP!!! If YOUR family secures a sponsor I will split that sponsorship money directly toward your student's class total. You did the work after all!

Working parents, ask your employer. Have a favorite local restaurant or small business you love? Ask them.

You would be surprised how many businesses genuinely want to support a cause like this when someone they know asks personally.

Now let's talk participation rates because this is where things get interesting 👇. Every student is encouraged to ear $275!

6th grade is leading the school at 50% participation 🙌
Kindergarten is right behind at 45%
3rd grade is at 38%
4th grade is at 33% and has taken the lead in total dollars raised over the weekend!
5th grade is at 29%

Every other grade is still below 25% which means there is SO much opportunity left on the table.

We are cheering for every single Lion to get in the game this week. It does not matter if the donation is $5 or $500, every pledge counts and every student deserves to feel proud of what they contributed to their school.

Remember donations are open through May 22nd so even after the run there is still time to reach out to that one person you have been meaning to ask. Let's finish strong St. Mark! 💛🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️
