Quilters Anonymous Guild Quilters Anonymous is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit whose purpose is to share the love and knowledge of quilting.

We have over 400 members and hold the largest Quilt Show in Western Washington annually, in addition to meetings, workshops, and charity work.

“Urban Owls” by Kathy Nasman ~ 66” x 80”

This pattern was one of two options available to Kathy at a yearlong Saturday Sampler class. She chose the other one. But, at the end of the class, when everyone shared their quilts, she was so inspired she decided to do this one too.

QA is excited to welcome Sandra Bruce as our speaker and workshop presenter this month! Sandra incorporates her background in illustration and lettering into her quilt designs.

On Tuesday, October 13, she’ll discuss “Material Matrix,” a technique using 2-inch squares to create photorealistic images in fabric. Her Wednesday, October 14 topic will be “Stitching Words”, exploring ideas for incorporating script into your quilts.

This Wildlife Wednesday brings us one bad dude.

Never call this guy "cute." He's a convicted felon, guilty of egg theft, garbage can B&E, and a little house squatting under your deck. He's Rudy Merlot, and he belongs on a bottle next to Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart.

Shirley Rock was inspired by the waves of snow geese that visit WA’s Skagit Valley and by a quilt pattern by Tonee White. The background is Log Cabins, and the geese are hand appliqued on top. Hand and machine pieced. Hand appliquéd. Longarm machine quilted.
