📢 📢 Call action!! 📢 📢 SEA members, let’s show up and show our support for our SESPA colleagues. They are vital to our schools and community! ✊🏽✊🏽

SEA showed up in solidarity for our Shoreline Educational Support Professionals Association colleagues last week. We could not have started this year, or any year, without them. They are the heart and soul of our schools and we stand with them through this bargain!

SEA & SESPA Building Reps joined together today to grow their power! The group learned together, talked about how to strengthen our union community, enjoyed lunch in the sunshine, and had some fun! What an amazing group of leaders! They make us all better! 💙

Because we stuck together, got ready to take action, and backed our bargaining team, we have a TA!

Thank you to the many SEA members who brought the team food, coffee and wrote cards/letters. Your time and care was important in helping our team continue their work.

Thank you to the fantastic SEA bargaining team! We saw the long hours you were willing to give at the table to negotiate a TA that supports our community.

Looking forward to seeing the details of the TA at our General Membership Meeting on Tuesday!

Thank you to all the SEA Reps who gave up their time this evening, it was wonderful to have every school in the district represented! Your reps collaborated and planned actions for members to take over the next few days to support the SEA bargaining team in their work at the table.

Special shoutout to the SESPA Co-Presidents Heather and Mario for being here tonight! We appreciate the support!

We finished! Tomorrow a day of learning together. Today we finished passing, opposing, or referring 92 New Business Items on behalf of the more than 3 million NEA members across the country. Tomorrow we are turning to the experts among us to learn more about advocacy, organizing, and mobilizing the power we hold. Thanks for the opportunity to be here in Portland!
