Merry Christmas and Happy New Years to all our basketball families. We look forward to seeing you all at basketball starting Jan 8, 2022! Rosters are being finalized. We still have room for elementary players as well as Jr High and High School ladies!

I hope you are all staying well and not going to stir crazy with staying at home for the most part.



As you have probably all surmised by now, after discussion and careful consideration, we are going to have to forgo basketball this winter. The guidelines set forth by the Dept of Health and King County Public Health will make it next to impossible to try and be in compliance with our tight quarters at Berean Bible Church. Depending on how things go, we may take a look at doing something in the spring time. We may also open up the gym for a Saturday if things are safe and just let the players come out and scrimmage for a few hours. Fingers crossed on being able to do that perhaps. If so, we will try to plan that in advance and notify you via email.



The plan at this point is to resume basketball in the winter of 2022 as usual. Please contact Dan @ (206) 399-4421 if you have any questions or concerns. We wish you all good health and hope to see many of you back in another year.

Good afternoon Survivors of Snowmageddon 2019!�
As you all know our season has been impacted by our recent weather. The impact has been felt across multiple schedules—from family to work and to our own church calendar—and while the weather is outside of our control, we are still committed to bringing opportunities which fulfill our mission to our community.

While league play for our 7-12th-grade students is still planning to resume NEXT weekend, we would like to provide an opportunity for open gym after our elementary league from 12:30-2:00pm for play, practice, and pick-up games for our older students. PLEASE: This is NOT an extension for our elementary players; we want to avoid injury and provide an opportunity to our youth-league players only.

Because this is impromptu, we understand if your student is unable to attend. We simply want to provide an outlet for those who are experiencing ‘cabin fever’ to get out and fellowship.

Lastly, please be mindful of our church parking lot. While adequate parking is available, snow and ice are still present as temperatures remain just above thaw.

We are thankful to have you all as partners in this league. Be safe, enjoy the extra family time, and may God continue to bless us all!

We are back in action! Our parking lot is clearing, but some patches of snow and ice may remain until Saturday. Please be cautious when parking and navigating... Be on the watch for children!

YBBL Week #7: CANCELLED
In view of the current condition of our church parking lot, reports we are receiving about road conditions (current and forecasted), and what we expect to see happen weather-wise over the next 24 hours, we feel that it would be best to cancel league play for this Saturday.

League play will resume next week, Saturday, February 16.

Due to the ice and snow, and our priority of safety for you and your family over and beyond our commitment to providing opportunities for your family to experience a spiritual and communal connection at our church, we have decided to cancel all activities at our church this evening, February 6, 2019.

We will evaluate the weather conditions on Friday and make a decision for whether league play will commence on Saturday.

We will announce our decision by Noon Friday.
