A big thank you to Key Bank branch managers who came out this week to help with North City Park restoration work! This team worked on the 10th restoration site in the park.

Thanks to all who pick up after their pets! The City provides doggy bags at the main entrance to the park if you forgot to pack yours.
We are working hard to restore the Park (removing invasive plants and installing natives) for the enjoyment of our future generation. You can do your part today [pick up after your pet] so we can all enjoy the Park today as well.

Be a good human. Scoop every p**p. 💩🐾

Dog p**p is not fertilizer. It can carry harmful bacteria and parasites that can make pets and people sick. When left on the ground, pet waste washes into storm drains and flows to streams, lakes, and Puget Sound, harming fish and wildlife.

It also creates a hazard for our Grounds Maintenance crews as mowing season gets underway in Shoreline’s parks, trails, and planting strips.

Please scoop it, bag it, and throw it in the trash, at the park, on the sidewalk, and at home.

A cleaner Shoreline starts with all of us.

Earth Day is April 22nd!! Come celebrate at North City Park from 10:00am -1:00pm. Help support restoration of this lovely 4 acre community forest.
Along with students from Soundview School, a team from PEMCO, and Shoreline Rotarians, we will be removing invasives from a new restoration site and installing native plants to increase species diversity.
