Hello guys,
First of all, thank you so much for supporting us in the past month, and we’ve received tons of positive feedbacks and likings from you guys. THANK YOU!
In the next month, our team will be donating all of our profits to local non-profit organizations and help Afghan refugees with their needs, like warm blankets. Our owner is also a single mother with a 8month old daughter, and we were so touching when we knew that many Afghan refugees are needing some urgent helps from us with their life and kids. It was so hard for them to move to a new place without any supports, and some of them could not speak our language. Thankfully, we found a couple organizations that could help them out, and we’ll be doing everything we could to help them too.

Happy Weekend! Knowledge Day 🤔

Why edges of knives sometimes break? 🤯

People sometimes notice that their knives have multiple breaks on the edges, and they wondered why. This is because that people cut too hard things with them, like bones. There’s a limit of each knife which determines how strong they could be when cutting through hard stuffs, and it completely depends on the hardness of the steel.

VG is how to determine if a knife is strong or not. VG-MAX is the strongest one that could cut through hard things without problem. 😬

Understanding their limits is very necessary when we are using them. Otherwise, frequent breaks would definitely shorten their life.

How could we fix those damages on edges? 🧐

Sharpening could! Sharpening doesn’t only mean to make them sharp, but also repair them!! 😆

Knives Knowledge Day!

Why there’re black dots on the blades?

We’ve seen many knives with black dots on the edges like this Shun, and these black dots will never affects its sharpness and life, but it just there, always.

We could say, these black dots were air when the knife was being produced and made in the factory, but air got into the blades when they were making them, and these air could not get out, so they stayed and formed the black dots.

No worries, they are just air!
