We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to everyone who visited the VFW Post 8589 booth during the Shoals Catfish Festival. It was a resounding success. We are especially grateful to our dedicated volunteers who worked tirelessly in the heat, and to all who generously donated to our cause. This event would not have been possible without your incredible support.

For those interested in participating in the drawing for the Grill, we still have tickets available. Please feel free to stop by the VFW anytime after 12:00 PM to secure yours.

STOP in the Shoals VFW and check out our upgrades!! We've all seen how great the outside looks, wait until you see the ongoing work on the INSIDE!! We're super proud of our Veterans and members they've been working hard on the inside, lots of changes!! Come check it out!!!

Your participation is crucial to a successful Fourth of July at the Catfish Festival. Please visit the VFW to sign up and contribute by cooking, donating items from our specified list, or staffing the booth outside where hamburger and hotdog sales will take place on Friday and Saturday until 1030pm each night 🎉🎊👍
