The Shively FOP Lodge 17 extends our deepest sympathies and heartfelt condolences to the family, friends, and fellow law-enforcement officers of Kentucky State Trooper Hayden Phillips.

We honor Trooper Phillips for his dedication to serving and protecting the Commonwealth and for making the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty.

Our thoughts and prayers are with his loved ones, his fellow troopers, and the entire Kentucky State Police family during this difficult time.

Rest in peace, Trooper Phillips. We will never forget your service and sacrifice.

Today, we face one of the most difficult moments an agency can endure as we announce the loss of one of our own. Trooper Hayden Phillips, Unit 369, made the ultimate sacrifice while
patrolling I-65 in Warren County. He was assigned to Post 3 Bowling Green and was a graduate of Cadet Class 103. His dedication to duty and commitment to the commonwealth will not
be forgotten.
Our hearts break for Trooper Phillips’ family, loved ones, and fellow troopers as we grieve this tremendous loss. We will carry his memory with us, honor the life he lived and the badge he wore, and stand together as an agency to support this family in the days ahead.

Thank you State Representative Jared Bauman for honoring fallen officers Detective John Weiss and Officer Armand Vancleave and their families today.
We are proud to have displays along I264 honoring these officers who paid the ultimate sacrifice. May we never forget them and their families.

Today, we remember the heroes who paid the ultimate sacrifice, and the innocent souls whose lives were lost and could not be saved.
May we never forget their courage, their sacrifice, and the lives they touched. Let their memory remain with us and serve as a reminder to always be prepared for the most unexpected calls.

May we continue to honor all first responders and the brave men and women of our Armed Forces who stand ready to answer the call, no matter the circumstances, with courage, strength, and unwavering dedication.

This week is National Police Week, a time when we pause to recognize the men and women who serve and protect our communities each day. It is also a time to honor and remember the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty — Detective John Weiss and Officer Armand Vancleave Sr. Their service, courage, and dedication will never be forgotten.
