🇻🇪 On June 24, Venezuela experienced two powerful earthquakes (7.2 and 7.5 magnitude) in the northern part of the country creating a humanitarian crisis.
🇻🇪 We are collecting supplies! Please donate: food, water, medicine, hygiene supplies, baby supplies, flashlights and batteries, blankets and clothing.

Twenty-one members of the Mastics-Moriches-Shirley Community Library’s citizenship preparation class became new citizens this year. Since starting our citizenship preparation program in 2009, we have helped 251 community members obtain citizenship; that is an exciting number to celebrate during the 250th birthday of our nation!

🎓 Congratulations to the 2026 WFHS Senior Scholarship winners! These four students were chosen anonymously by their essays "Challenges and Solutions to the Literacy Crisis."

We partnered with Moriches Elementary for "Blind Date with a Book." Literacy Department's, Sara, wrote descriptions and wrapped 100 books for Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week!
