UPDATE- WE ARE ALLOWING STUDENTS IN GRADE 6 TO AUDITION, EVEN IF THEY ARE NOT YET 12. They must be able to handle being at the full rehearsals, and be comfortable with some difficult themes that co.e up in this show.
We are seeking 10 soloists and at least 10 ensemble members for our fall production of GODSPELL (Original Version). First-timers and experienced performers alike, ages 12 through adult, are invited to audition. Shirley residency is NOT required.

• Audition: Monday, August 31 starting at 6:30 pm until finished
• Rehearsals: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, 6:30-9:00 pm (no rehearsal 9/3, 9/7, 10/12)
• Performances: Oct. 23 & 24 at 7:30 pm, Oct. 25 at 2:00 pm

The setting for our production will be a theater, where cast members are all arriving for a rehearsal. The actors are somewhat chaotic until “John the Baptist” and “Jesus” start to guide them on their way to working together and learning from each other. “Judas” eventually betrays “Jesus” and the group must come together to share what they’ve learned with the world.
