Services for Edward Miskovitz aka Pookie aka Grandpa will be Tuesday the 24th at 11:00 at St. Francis of Assisi in Fairfield Bay. There will be a funeral mass followed by a luncheon. There will be time to share stories at the luncheon and Grandma is looking forward to hearing as many as possible. Hope to see everyone there.

L. A. F. F. S. 9th Annual Fly-in

19th and 20th, 2014

All AMA pilots and their guests are invited to our 9th annual fly-in at the LAFFS flying field in Fairfield Bay for two days of radio control flying on our beautiful 700 ft. grass runway. AMA sanction 14-0364.

Concessions will be available at the field by: Little Red Restaurant of F. F. B.

Pilots meeting will be at 9:00 am. Flying immediately afterward and until 5:00 pm. There will be a $10.00 landing fee. Plaques will be awarded for:

Best military scale WWI
Best military scale WWII
Best civilian scale
Best of show

There will be a raffle with such prizes as a Spectrum DX8 TX/RX system and many more.

Come out and bring the whole family. Kida can try their hand at flying with the club traing and club instructors.
