The Grain Reapers had an awesome time serving our beers (and seltzers and cider) to the great crowd of old friends and new friends who braved the elements to come out to Senstoberfest yesterday. We like to think we're pretty good at naming our beverages, but were entertained by all the variations you came up with for our "There's a F***ing Stick in My Head." Well played. We especially appreciate the discerning individuals who kept coming back for more, and who gave up their bottle caps in the "Brewery Champion" (aka people's choice) voting. Speaking of which, The Reapers managed to win the Senstoberfest Brewery Champion baseball bat, in a field of 36 breweries. We seem to be on a roll, and look forward to the next event (TBD). We had a great time yesterday at the Dauphin County Brewfest, in our first public outing as a club. It was brutally hot, but the staff and the attendees were great, and the beer selections were awesome! And out of 23 Brewers (20 commercial and 3 homebrew clubs), The Grain Reapers and our friends Sons of Alchemy finished at the top of the attendee voting.
