We had a great start to summer at youth group last night! Our students continue to bring so much joy each week through their positivity and kindness. We’re looking forward to next Wednesday as we dive into some of the big questions our youth have been asking. Our theme is sports, so wear your favorite team gear and come ready for a fun night together!

LAST YOUTH NIGHT OF THE YEAR!
Don’t worry, we’ll have some summer events (mission trip! theme nights! Indiana Beach!) but tonight we wrapped up the school year. Started off right with a game of whiffle ball, then had a great meal (thanks Jenny Laughlin!). We followed that up with worship (thanks to Kara and Corey Short and Audwin Stutzman for leading!) and the year in review from Pastor Lance.

Great night at youth!
After dinner (thanks LeAnne!!) we played several games, including Human Twister…turns out it harder to straighten out a mess than to make one! 😊
Lance taught a great lesson on 1 John 3 and the importance of loving one another in word and especially in deed.

ITS HAYSTACK DAY!

Today was our youth group fundraiser, and our church family showed up big! The kids did an amazing job, they showed up ready to work and to serve. What a blessing to have these great kids in our group, and to have the congregation support them well.

Who says guys aren’t cooks?! These guys browned lots (like 50 #) of burger tonight in preparation for the HAYSTACK FUNDRAISER on Sunday. They even had a mini concert going on 😊

Thanks to Gretchen for a fantastic meal. We also had fun playing games, then met in the sanctuary for worship and a lesson by Lance.
