Well I am wrapping up my study into Hosea. It has been a thought-provoking study. Isreal and Judah seemed to know the Lord and seemed to at one time walk after the heart of God. For some reason they kept going back after other god's and worldly gains. I was really blessed to see God's love continually shine even in the pain I am sure it caused Him. Folks God wants all of us not for a power play! He wants all of us because He loves us!!! -PD

Well, it is time once again to share a thought or two from the study into Hosea. Looking at the attitude that Isreal has on knowing they are God's people and then continuing walk in sin. Now I agree that Jesus died for all of our past, present and future sin. In this study I do see that God never ceases to love and care. My question is what about consequences of our actions? Yes, we are saved but if we knowingly and willing walk in disobedience will we not have to deal with consequences of our choices? Please remember God desire for us is to see us through to the promise land! -PD

Good morning folks. Pray this finds you seeking more of Jesus in your life and heart. As I came from prayer this morning, I am moved to ask many to pray for a very dear missionary friend by the name of Mary Faith. Her mother has received a medical report that is not promising. Mary Faith has flown home to be with family. Also, I am asking for everyone to remember Pastor Appreciation Month. Bless them as the Holy Spirit leads you to let them know they are loved and appreciated. _PD

Forward with my study into Hosea the prophet. Before I share the blessings, the Lord brings through His Holy Spirit and laid on my heart so far. I would like to state this is not meant to be a scholarly study. I start each study with Psalms 139: 23 & 24 as the bases of the study. So, just a few points to begin with. The first one is a reminder of God's love and desire for us as His people. Second God may use many ways to reach out to show us we have areas to deal with. The third, which I will end with, we may feel we are blessed and have control but we are in God's sight. Humility in my walk and willingness to be corrected and led by the Holy Spirit. Romans 8: 14

Hey one and all, I am in South Carolina visiting mom this weekend. While preparing to come this way I was challenged to start a in depth study once again into the Minor Prophets. I have been led to the book of Hosea. Please feel free to join in and share any thoughts on this study. -PD

Good Monday to you all. I would like to pass on a blessing that I received at church yesterday. The Pastor closed with Psalm 91: 14 - 16. He shared that we find 8 promises from God for holding on to Him. So, I pass the challenge on. Can you find the 8 promises? Great appreciation unto all and may the Lord confirm to you today that He has not let go of you! -PD

Ok, I confess I really stink at tech! I wrote yesterday and it went to no where land. I will try again. I was asked recently what is PUMP Ministry and what do we do. No we are not a well drilling ministry but we have dug wells in Central America and Africa. We are a counseling and support ministry unto Pastors and Missionaries. The different ways we have this opportunity are to many to list but a few are Arbitration, Counseling, Pulpit Supply, Camp Speaker, Retreat Speaker, Bible College Teacher, Writing Bible Courses and most of all Friendship. PUMP stands for Pastoring Unto Missionaries & Pastors. We do not come in to take over or pretend. to have all the answers. We just want to help where needed. Well, I will try again. The trip to Ghana is confirmed. When we purchased airfare we were given a free checked bag. This bag at this time is empty and we are seeking to fill it with blessings for Pastors and Missionaries. I will not be able to come around and collect due to being in North Carolina and South Carolina till time of departure October 19th.
