Clarion P.A.W.S. This page is for the business of saving feline lives & information pertinent to that subject. Our team is entirely made up of volunteers from our community.

​We are a No-Kill Feline Adoption Center in Western Pennsylvania, just outside of Clarion, PA
​ and part of the No More Homeless Pets movement that is sweeping across the United States. Most all of them either go to school or work full-time outside of PAWS

Our Director, Board Members, Cleaners, Fosters, Social Media Contributors and Adoption Staff ​give graciously of their time, energy and often

their homes and finances to make PAWS a reality. Our community gives generously to help us provide for the needs of our feline residents
​with monetary donation ​as well as donations of kitty litter, food, toys, beds, cleaning supplies, etc.

A super friendly, affectionate cat, Thomas Tuxedo is a relative newcomer to PAWS. He was a stray surrendered to us a few months ago and we estimate him to be around 3 years old. He has blended in easily with the other cats at the shelter and gets along with everybody. Thomas Tuxedo is the cat for you if you are looking for a gentle lovebug who only wants to sit with you and have his chin scratched. We especially love the little black dot on his chin, it’s like a signpost saying “please scratch here”. Be sure to stop by and meet Thomas Tuxedo!

Carnelian’s beautiful tortoiseshell coat does not really pop in pictures, but come visit and you will see how lovely she is in person. Torties are known for their spirited personalities and Carnelian will definitely push her way through the crowd to get your attention. She is two years old and loves to greet visitors. Carnelian wants you to know - a house isn't a home without a rescued cat purring in the window! Especially a gorgeous tortie in her splendid orange/black coat.

Skeeter came to Clarion PAWS with her kitten last year after the family dog became aggressive toward them. She is a very sweet tabby girl who loves your attention. When you visit, she comes up immediately looking for love and lots of pets. Skeeter is two years old and gets along well with other cats and children. She has handled the changes in her life with an easy spirit, so we think she will fit right into a new home. Could that home be yours? Skeeter would be a great addition to any household. Please drop by and meet this sweetheart of a cat.
