We are deeply saddened to learn of the tragic incident involving the Reach 5 crew yesterday evening in the Sacramento area. Our hearts are heavy, and the Shingletown Volunteer Fire Department extends our sincere thoughts and heartfelt prayers to the Reach 5 team and their families during this incredibly difficult time.

This photo was taken during one of our training nights—a reminder of the strong bond and deep respect we share with the Reach team. We are incredibly grateful for the work they do and the lives they touch.

Please join us in keeping them in your thoughts as they navigate the days ahead.
