🎯 SHOUTOUT TO GUNDERSON ACADEMY OF EXCELLENCE FI****MS & TRAINING!

We want to give a very special THANK YOU to Adam Gunderson of Gunderson Academy of Excellence Fi****ms & Training for bringing his shooting simulator to our 30th Annual Meatball Dinner. This was our first year having the simulator, and it was definitely a HIT! 🔥🎯

Even more incredible, Adam generously donated 100% of the profits from the shooting simulator back to IVFD! We are so grateful for your generosity and for helping make our fundraiser such a success.

Adam also went above and beyond by donating a Smith & Wesson 9mm M&P for the top shooter!

🏆🎯 CONGRATULATIONS TO OUR SHARP SHOOTER OF THE NIGHT, COURTNEY HAUG!

Courtney happens to be one of our own IVFD members and our department secretary, so we’re pretty excited to say the prize is staying in the IVFD family! 🔫🚒

Way to go, Courtney! Looks like you brought your A-game! 🎯👏

Adam, thank you again for your generosity, your time, and for bringing something new and exciting to our event. We truly appreciate your support of the Itasca Township Volunteer Fire Department! ❤️🚒

❤️‍🔥 A HUGE THANK YOU from the Itasca Township Volunteer Fire Department! ❤️‍🔥
What an AMAZING night at our Annual Meatball Dinner & Silent Auction!

We are truly overwhelmed by the incredible, continued support from our community and the surrounding communities. Thank you to everyone who came out, enjoyed a delicious meal, visited with friends and neighbors, participated in the silent auction, tried out the shooting simulator, and supported IVFD!

It was especially wonderful to see members of neighboring fire departments, sheriff’s deputies, and other area first responders join us for the evening. We are so grateful for the friendships, support, and camaraderie that extend well beyond our own department. 🚒❤️🚑🤍🚓💙

A very special THANK YOU to all of the businesses, families, and individuals who generously donated items for our silent auction. Your generosity made the auction such a success, and we are so grateful for every single donation!

Thank you to everyone who helped make the evening possible — from those who prepared and served the meatballs, mashed potatoes, and all the food, to those who set up, worked the tables, helped with the auction, cleaned up, and did all the behind-the-scenes work. It truly takes a village!

And most importantly, thank you to our community and surrounding communities for continuing to support your volunteer firefighters. Every donation, letter in the mail, auction bid, purchase, and kind word helps our department continue to serve and protect our neighbors.

We are incredibly blessed and grateful for each and every one of you who continues to show up and support IVFD year after year. From all of us at IVFD — THANK YOU!! ❤️‍🔥🚒

Today, we honor the 25th anniversary of the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

Nearly 3,000 people lost their lives at the World Trade Center, the Pentagon, and in a rural field in Pennsylvania. It was the deadliest terrorist attack ever to take place on American soil.

We remember all the men and women who lost their lives simply for being Americans—representing the faith and freedoms that can overcome evil.

May we, as a nation, rededicate ourselves to those freedoms and to our faith in God as we strive to Never Forget.

Special shoutout to our assistant chief, Greg, for volunteering his time yesterday to help with the Kids Carnival at the Annual Lake George Blueberry Festival. Thank you, Greg, for lending a hand and representing our department so well! 🚒

Don’t forget about the Lake George Fire Department’s Pancake Feed that’s going on right now until 11:00am. 🥞 It's a great way to enjoy a delicious meal while supporting a fellow volunteer fire department and all they do for their community!

Tonight our department had the opportunity to train with Clearwater County Sheriff’s Deputy Clarence LaCroix, focusing on radio communication and coordination.
Strong communication is critical in emergency response, and we’re grateful for the time, knowledge, and support that help keep our teams working together effectively when it matters most.
A big thank you to Deputy LaCroix and the Clearwater County Sheriff’s Office for partnering with us and helping us sharpen our skills.
We appreciate the continued collaboration in serving and protecting our community. 🚒
Thanks again, Deputy LaCroix!!
