Sherrard Food Pantry The Sherrard Food Pantry serves struggling families in 10 of Mercer County communities. Clients can receive food on a monthly and emergency basis.

This institution is prohibited from discriminating on the basis of race, color, national origin, s*x, age, disability, and reprisal or retaliation for prior civil rights activity. The communities we serve consist of Boden, Cable, Fyre Lake, Gilchrist, Matherville, New Windsor, Preemption, Sherrard, Swedona, and Viola. The food received is a predetermined amount based on their household size. We ar

e partnered with Riverbend Food Bank and have access to most food at .18¢ per pound. Because of this significant discount, your financial donation increases our food supply. For example, for every $1 you donate, we can purchase approx. $10 of food. We are also partnered with Midwest Food Bank. The 42 students of Sherrard's National Honor Society went above and beyond! They delivered 591 POUNDS of food donations that they worked diligently to collect from the community. To say we were shocked when they dropped the tailgate is an understatement! Thank you so very much to the Sherrard Honor Society!! Go Tigers

🙏Help keep our shelves stocked. Our current needs are:

Margarine (needed for mac & cheese)

Canned Goods such as carrots, peas diced tomatoes, and refried beans

Soft taco shells & taco seasoning

Saltine crackers

Bar soap

Full size toothpaste

Donations can be dropped off the first 4 Tues 1-3PM or Thurs 5:30-7, placed in bench next to front door, or by appointment.
