The Lancaster VegFest is THIS WEEKEND! We are thrilled to be going again and will be set up along the side closest to Race Street/food trucks. There are so many vendors, INCREDIBLE plant-based food, and the weather is looking promising!☀️
We have a goal and want to help you help us reach that goal!

I have never seen anyone resting as peacefully as Indie was resting today. Our first rescue. Our oldest girl. Our Matriarch. Emma’s mom.
The rain took a break and there was a beautiful breeze.

In the midst of our lengthy, never-ending to-do list, these moments remind us why we do this work. These little lives rely on the Huckleberry volunteers and this community and I thank you all so very much for being here.❤️🙏

Good morning, Huckleberry friends~

Both of the beloved cats in our care had vet appointments this week; Rocky’s follow up was Tuesday and Elli Cat’s annual exam was Wednesday. Both went well.❤️

⭐️🐱 Rocky!!! Rocky is doing SO much better but a few days after the doxycycline regiment ended, his respiratory issues (though milder) started again. Still, our vet was happy with his progress and said that with another round of doxycycline, he should be well enough to have his dental procedure!🙌 He is scheduled for June 15th, which also happens to be my birthday. Our estimate for this surgery is $1200. Getting this dental procedure done is imperative to Rocky’s wellness, but we can’t do it without your help.

For my birthday this year, there is nothing I want more than to help this sweet little boy further along in his journey to healing. If you’d like to help cover Rocky’s surgery, please know that every dollar helps us reach our goal.
