Casualties Of War National

Casualties Of War National Bringing our nations veterans and first responders together by creating solutions to make them successful again in life. Or,

3. Become involved.

They say that one person can change the world. Casualties’ of war as an organization, began as a blog and evolved overtime to become a national movement. Casualties’ of War is a Texas registered non-profit organization, formed in 2016. In June of 2017, we obtained our 501c3 status from the Internal Revenue Service and are now nationally recognized. Our registration number is:81-3483140

Founder Za

ck Brown, having been involved previously with other veteran’s service and not-for-profit organizations, over time became frustrated with “raising awareness” and creating failure points. One day in a conversation, he stated, “I’m tired of building wheel chair ramps. I want to teach people to walk again.” With this simple statement of frustration, a revolution was born. More than a blog, Casualties' of War is a national organization, which is focused on helping veterans and first responders become successful in life as well as reconnect individuals into a positive and supportive group in which to face this world.

As part of the larger “Operation Anvil” initiative, Casualties’ of War, as an organization, is tasked with assisting in administering solution based programs implemented by Operation Anvil and in conjunction with the Tattered Flag Project. Currently, there are 6 states with Casualties’ of War chapters in various stages of development and operation.

1. If you are interested in entering the “war” on PTSD Or,

2. If you are a veteran, or first responder who wishes to “reconnect” with the “brotherhood” in a meaningful, positive and productive way. If you desire to make a difference. Only by locking shields and moving forward will this enemy be defeated.

I don’t really do big speeches on days like this.
Most of us who served don’t.

Because the truth is, service changes you.
Not all of it was glory.
Not all of it was pain.
But every bit of it cost something.

Veterans Day isn’t about attention.
It’s about remembering the people we stood next to, the ones who laughed with us, bled with us, and carried the same weight we did… even if we never said it out loud.

To my brothers and sisters…I see you.
I know the quiet. I know the memories.
I know the names that don’t leave your chest.

To the ones who didn’t get to come home… we carry you.
To the ones still fighting battles no one else can see…you’re not alone.
And to those still serving…stand firm. We’re with you.

Never above you. Never below you. Always beside you.

Asking for prayers for one of our own Mitch Westervelt. He was a brother, a father, a husband and one of the founding members of our team. Gone way too soon brother, never will be forgotten.
