NVIDIA and Coherent are partnering to help build a strong domestic silicon photonics supply chain right here in the United States. This technology will support the next generation of AI infrastructure by helping connect massive clusters of AI chips.

Coherent’s Sherman facility is playing a major role in this effort through a $650 million expansion that will double the size of the existing chip factory and support more than 1,000 total jobs.

Sherman is proud to be part of the future of advanced manufacturing, semiconductor innovation, and American-made technology.
