🌙🐾 ’Twas the Night Before the Battle of the Axe 🐾🌙

’Twas the night before the Battle of the Axe, and all through the town,
Bearcat Nation was stirring, but soon settling down;
The moon cast its glow on the field shining bright,
As the Bearcats prepared for tomorrow’s big fight.

The night air was peaceful, the evening was still,
But you could feel something coming, a battle of will;
For the tackles rang out, and the “HUTS!” filled the air,
A little taste of the battle that soon would be there.

The players kept practicing, giving their best,
While the moon watched above as the night put them to rest;
It felt like the calm before storms fill the sky,
With game day approaching, and the Axe drawing nigh.

So Bearcat Nation, it’s time for goodnight,
Rest easy beneath the moon’s gentle light;
Dream of touchdowns, tackles, and victory in sight,
For tomorrow we battle, GAME DAY has arrived!

So sleep soundly, Bearcats, and rest while you may,
For when morning comes, there’s a battle to play;
The Axe will be waiting, the Bearcats will roar,
GO BEARCATS! Let’s show them what we’re fighting for!

Ashton delivered a stellar performance on both sides of the ball, making his presence felt from start to finish. 🔥

The Sherman Youth Sports Association (SYSA) is excited to announce a NEW opportunity for youth grades 6th–12th who are interested in sports journalism, media, and broadcasting!

This season, we're looking for young people interested in gaining hands-on experience at SYSA Football games in:

🎥 FILMING – Help capture the action on the field
🎙️ ANNOUNCING – Get experience behind the microphone
📸 PHOTOGRAPHY – Capture game-day moments and highlights

Hi Bearcat Nation,

Our FIRST-EVER SYSA Volleyball Clinic officially launched the season, and these future Bearcats were looking SHARP! 🏐🔥

A HUGE thank you to SISD, Coach Hancock, Coach Dunlap, and the amazing Middle School Lady Bearcats for putting on such a fun camp for our Littles!

We are so proud of the partnership between SYSA & SISD and what we can accomplish together for the youth in our community. We truly couldn’t do this without you!

We had a HUGE turnout, but even bigger smiles, energy, and FUN!

I think it’s safe to say… we’re ready! BUMP. SET. SPIKE! 🏐🐾
