A project that’s been years in the making is finally getting underway around Courthouse Square!

Over the next few months, crews will replace the existing street lights with modern fixtures that will do so much more than light the way. The new system will have the ability to stream music and announcements during events like the Christmas Parade, share information about downtown events on integrated LED screens, and eventually serve as anchor points for cross-street lighting.

These improvements will help make our downtown events even more enjoyable while also creating a brighter, safer experience for everyone who lives, works, and visits downtown.
