The San Fernando Valley is a strong center for bioscience training. Los Angeles Mission College prepares students for biotechnology and biomanufacturing careers through hands-on laboratory training, certificates, degrees, and a Bachelor of Science in Biomanufacturing. A new state-of-the-art biotechnology facility is now being developed to expand training and help prepare more San Fernando Valley students for these careers.
Los Angeles Pierce College, Los Angeles Valley College, Glendale Community College, and Cal State University, Northridge also offer various types of training to prepare you for a successful bioscience and healthcare career. 🎓
Eligible students can save at least $2,208 in community college enrollment fees through the Los Angeles College Promise, and financial aid is available at all educational institutions if you qualify.
