Celebrating the LA Watts Summer Games, the USA City Games™ is a multi-day, multicultural, inner-city Olympic style youth sporting event which focuses on "Connecting Youth & Changing Lives" via sports, education and cultural events. The USA City Games™ (USACG), a multi-day, multicultural, inner-city Olympic style youth sporting event, will take place annually throughout Greater Los Angeles, at the
L.A. cities by 2021. Up to 15,000 male and female individual and team sports participants (ages 12-18) from Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) Middle and High Schools and surrounding communities will compete each year in Basketball, Softball, Football, Soccer, Lacrosse, Girls Volleyball, and Track & Field. Additionally, the USACG will be introducing an “Eighth Sport”, Youth Obstacle Course Racing. The USACG has engaged in an alliance with LAUSD, Boys & Girls Clubs of America, City of Los Angeles Recreation and Parks, and USC. We’re looking forward to an exciting kick-off when The Games culminate at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum for the main event in mid-2017.
