CalATMA is back and stronger than ever! We have some news and membership updates that we would like to share with all of you.

CalATMA has now been an official 501-C6 professional acupuncture association for four years. However, we're still considered a new association. In an upside down... inside out world, we've managed to survive a pandemic, political turmoil, and uncertain economic times. We've had some success, some failures, and many projects still in development.

Our membership is socio-cultural, economical, and proudly diverse. CalATMA sees the wide diversity as a reflection of who we are as California practitioners.

Our community is focused on promoting positive purpose throughout which we refer to as PPIA (Protecting, Promoting, Integrating, Advancing)

Our overall mission is to unify California Acupuncture stakeholders. By representing diversity within our association, we create an overall common professional identity on legislative, political, and social issues within our practice to ensure protection of our patient's lives and be an effective voice for future generations.

For a detailed look into becoming a member of our community, please check out our website: https://www.calatma.org/membership-account/membership-level

Friends,

The important Dry Needling issue will not be in the Courts, however, it will be discussed during the Legislative Process.

This is an election year and many seats are up for grabs. Do you wish to make a difference? It is important more now then ever to get involved.

We don't need to be politicians to make a change. For a list or link of Legislators in California please contact me.

Please respond to this post and/or contact me (Matthew Gray) at the CalATMA Communications Office at [email protected] to share your thoughts and suggestions.
