🎉 ACHS Celebrates 100 Years & New Leadership! 🎉

ACHS marked its 100th anniversary at our 2025 Annual Conference, with over 50 representatives from 34 honor societies. The event featured inspiring speakers, key discussions, and the election of our new 2025-26 Board of Directors.

We’re reflecting on an inspiring few days at the 2025 ACHS Conference in Kansas City! From Jan. 30 to Feb. 1, honor society leaders, educators, and members gathered to exchange ideas, share best practices, and shape the future of honor societies in higher education.

🌟 Centennial Celebration: We marked a monumental milestone, celebrating 100 years of ACHS’s leadership in honor societies with a special luncheon program with past leaders. What a journey it has been!

💡 Engaging Presentations & Discussions: Sessions featuring thought leaders sparked conversations about the future of honor societies in higher education. In particular, speakers included Dr. Michele Smith, Eileen Merberg, Khanh Vu, Dr. Tom Vansaghi, and Dr. Alan Grant.

🤝 Networking & Collaboration: With a room full of passionate professionals from all over the country, we forged valuable connections and fostered collaboration for the years to come.

🎓 Workshops & Sessions: Our workshops provided actionable strategies to enhance academic excellence, leadership, and student engagement.

📜 ACHS Bylaws Amendments: Members discussed and voted on proposed amendments to the ACHS Bylaws, shaping the future of our community.

A heartfelt thank you to our 2025 event partners, exhibitors, and attendees for making this year’s conference such a success. Here’s to continuing the journey of excellence for another 100 years! 🎉

Why does being certified by the Association of College Honor Societies matter? 🤔

Our membership in ACHS guarantees that we meet strict criteria designed to ensure ✨student growth✨ and tangible, ✨lifelong benefits✨ to belonging.

, and every other ACHS member, completed a qualifying petition for membership in order to earn our credentials.

While you may receive invitations from many "honor societies" via email, it's important to remember that not all of them are legitimate. ACHS-certification can be an easy way to guarantee legitimacy of an honor society.
