The Sheridan Police Department is accepting applications for a patrol officer position. Benefits include: a competitive salary, full-paid family insurance, LOPFI retirement system, vacation time, sick time, paid holidays, certificate pay, and education pay. Base pay for uncertified officers with holiday pay is $43,949.60. Base pay for certified officers can be up to $51,862.46 including holiday pay based on years of full-time law enforcement experience.
