✔ Gather 2025 Form 1040 tax forms
(applicant + co-borrowers)
✔ Request official transcripts from your school
✔ Provide proof of enrollment (acceptance letter/class schedule)
✔ Include cost of attendance information (*vocational / grad students)

You may qualify if you are:
✔ A Sheridan / Johnson County high school graduate
✔ An eligible GED recipient from Sheridan / Johnson County
✔ A Sheridan / Johnson County resident for 4+ continuous years, this includes homeschooled students

Today, we honor the life and legacy of Edward A. Whitney, born March 24, 1843.

A quiet, thoughtful man with a powerful vision, Mr. Whitney spent decades planning a gift that would support education and opportunity for generations to come.

His belief was simple:
“My estate does not belong to me… it belongs to the people.”

Because of that vision, students, families, and our entire community continue to benefit.

We are proud to carry forward his legacy here in Sheridan.

Happy Birthday, Mr. Whitney. Your impact lives on. 💙
