Big Horn Mountain Snomads All Season Recreation
Minutes May 12, 2026

Attendees: Jim & Sandi Adams, Rick & Roberta Young, Brad & Stacy Rozman, Cody Ratcliff,
Steve & Jennifer Worsley, Glen Adkins, Diane Mitchell, Jim Cosco, Chad Adams, Heather Snider,
Dan Fedewa, Tracey Woehrle, Clay Radcliff, John Mitchell, and Shaw Walker

Meeting called to order by President Jim Adams at 6:00pm

Minutes from last meeting: Brad Rozman made a motion to approve and John Mitchell seconded the motion. Motion passed.

Treasurer Report: Stacy Rozman reported current balance is $11,915.72. Stacy did not receive the detailed report from Lynn Hartje.

Old Business:
Poker Ride Update:
Sponsors – total of 25 – 19 Gold are level donating at least $250.00.
Posters – Sonni Williams had designed 2 posters. The club voted on which
design to have printed.
Advertising – Chad Adams made a motion that $450.00 be allocated and split between Country Bounty, Radio and Facebook. Diane Mitchell seconded the motion. Motion passed. Chad will be responsible for Facebook and Jim will take care of the Radio and Country Bounty. Country Bounty ad will be one week before event and Facebook will be in two different time frames.
Workers – This will be discussed at the June meeting. Volunteers – Cody Ratcliff,
Rod Jesperson, and Brad and Stacy Rozman.
Poker Rules – Steve Worsley made a motion to change wording from “buy as many hands as you want” to 4 Hand Limit. Diane Mitchell seconded the motion.
Motion passed. Sandi reviewed one other rule that is being handled different ways – “Discarded cards will be set aside until hand is finished. You must keep your last card drawn”.
6th Card Option – Elk View Inn will be the 6th card and final stop. If the person elects to draw a card at Elk View the best 5 cards will be used for hand ranking.
Parkman Ride:
Chad reported there were 7-8 units and 15 people. Weather was nice.
Excitement of the ride was a bull snake crawled into the belly pan area of
one of the units. Never was able to get it out until they got home.
CD:
Jim will check on CD Rates again now that the club has the EIN number.
He will then get with Stacy to invest the $5000.00.

New Business:
Election of officers:
Jim reviewed the By-Law Terms for Officer’s. President, Vice President and Treasurer are all 2-year terms. Secretary has no terms listed (lifetime election).
Rick Young resigned as Vice President. Jim gave an overview of Rick’s accomplishments the past few years.
Rick Young nominated Cody Ratcliff for Vice President.
Steve Worsley seconded the motion. Motion passed.
Revision of By-Laws: Jim handed all Board Members a copy of the By-Laws with noted
comments to review. By-Laws will be reviewed at the next meeting with the
Board Members.
2026 NFS Spring Steering Committee Meeting:
Rick Young and Jim Adams attended this meeting in Greybull on May 7,2026.
Jim sent all Snomad Members an email with a list of items presented and discussed at this meeting. The Medicine Wheel proposed closure of all FS land within a 5-mile radius was brought up. FS stated the comment period has been extended and the decision has to be a 100% agreement.
Membership Renewals-
Renewals for the 2026-2027 year start on May 1st. Sandi Adams will email the
Membership Form to all members. The membership form has been removed
from the WSSA Website.
Upcoming Rides:
Montana Ride - 5/17 Parking has been approved.
Stockwell Mine – 6/3
Game Creek – 6/17
Pryor Mountain Wild Horse Ride – 6/27
Safety Shelter:
Dave Ramsey stopped by the Safety Shelter to look at the stove pipe issue.
Jim relayed what needs to be done to help with the stove burning better
too many turns in the pipe going through the wall.
3rd Thursday:
Jim Cosco asked if the club wants to do 3rd Thursday this year. He will apply for
the permit in August.

John Mitchell made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Tracey Woehrle seconded.
