USMSA Director Mark Winston recently met with Dr. Robert Byrd, Chief Coroner of Sheridan County, and William Szatmary of the Sheridan VA Medical Center to discuss an important question:

Can a Men’s Shed help support veterans and community members who may be experiencing isolation, hardship, or crisis?

As plans continue for the new Sheridan Men’s Shed at Phorge Makerspace, local leaders are exploring how the Shed model can foster connection, purpose, and belonging while helping individuals find support when they need it most.

These conversations reflect the heart of the Men’s Shed movement—bringing people together, building community, and creating spaces where no one has to face life’s challenges alone.

Join us for a night of design! Bring your creativity! You will design the engraving for your stainless steel insulated drink cup. Engraving takes some time, so some bottles will be ready the next day. The fee is a little higher to cover cost of the bottle. FYI, stainless steel engravings with a laser have color to them!
