For many neurodivergent children and adults — and even some neurotypical people — squishies are a type of sensory fidget that can help with self-regulation. Squeezing, stretching, and manipulating a squishy provides calming sensory input that can help reduce stress, improve focus, ease anxiety, and support emotional regulation. Fidgets aren't distractions—they're tools that help many people stay engaged, learn, and navigate the world more comfortably.

A little late posting this, but we’ve been busy! 😊

We want to send a huge THANK YOU to CHAPS for an incredible couple of afternoons with our REACH families. Our kids had an absolute blast!

The staff and volunteers at CHAPS were truly amazing. They were patient, kind, encouraging, and met every child exactly where they were. They created an environment where each child felt safe, supported, and celebrated, making it a wonderful experience for everyone.

Thank you, CHAPS, for opening your hearts to our families and giving our kids such a memorable experience. We are so grateful for your partnership and can’t wait to come back!

Our July 15 REACH & CHAPS Equine Assisted Services session is almost full—we have just ONE spot remaining!

This unique equine-assisted experience is designed to help participants:
💙 Build confidence
💙 Strengthen communication
💙 Develop emotional regulation
💙 Create meaningful connections

Participants will engage in ground-based activities with the horses alongside trained CHAPS staff. Horseback riding is not part of these sessions.

We are excited to offer two special equine-assisted sessions designed to help participants build confidence, strengthen communication, develop emotional regulation, and create meaningful connections in a safe and supportive environment.

Today was one of those days that reminds you what community is all about. ❤️⚾

A huge THANK YOU to the Jets for joining us at today’s Play It Your Way Sports event. Sheridan Legion Baseball

I don’t know if these young men will ever truly understand what their visit meant to our kids and their families.

They didn’t just come to play baseball—they came with kindness, patience, and genuine hearts. Every single player met each child exactly where they were, regardless of their age, ability, or experience. They celebrated every hit, every throw, every smile, and every success. They made every child feel seen, included, and important.

And it wasn’t just the players. Their coach was right there alongside them, encouraging the kids and making everyone feel welcome. It was obvious that this team is about so much more than baseball.

The joy on the kids’ faces, the smiles from the parents, and the memories made today are something we won’t soon forget.

Thank you, Sheridan Jets, for showing our community what leadership, compassion, and inclusion look like. You are incredible role models, and we are so grateful you spent part of your morning with us.

You made a difference today—one that reached far beyond the baseball field. 💙⚾
