YETI and our kids need your help! Many of you have asked if our children in Nepal were impacted by the recent horrible flash flood. Our kids are all fine. Unfortunately, the flooding created many new orphans. YETI and our partners in Nepal have agreed to take in an additional ten flood orphans - we didn't plan for this expansion and it will be an ongoing commitment to these children who suddenly have no family. We need your help to pay for the needs of our new kids! Please consider an online donation at www.yetikids.org or drop us a physical check. Any amount helps us ensure these children have the opportunity to heal in a safe and loving home.

Thank you to Youth Enhancement and Training Initiative (YETI) for supporting Westminster Neighborhood Services as a Pantry Shelf Sponsor for fruits & vegetables.

Fresh produce plays a vital role in helping our Near Eastside neighbors access nutritious food, and this support helps ensure our pantry shelves are stocked with healthy options for the families we serve.

The YETI Orphanage in Nepal was constructed in 2003-04, and the first children arrived in 2005. From time to time, repairs and improvements are needed to the structures and amenities. In September, 2023, YETI sent funding to accomplish various repairs and upgrades: electric wiring management, replacing bulbs and fans, repairs to kitchen tables and storage, repair and replacement of beds, and repairs to the study room tables and chairs. This is all in addition to an earlier project to paint and repair interior and exterior walls and structures. Members of the YETI board visited the children and inspected the repairs in October, 2023. Thanks for your generosity that makes all of this possible for the children!
