🌸 Meet Layla 🌸

Your new best friend.. she’s been waiting for you to see her. To notice her. To notice she’s different from all the others.

She’s a beautiful brindle girl.
Big puppy personality just waiting to share with someone.
And an even better heart. We love this girl. If you spent time with her, you would know why. And perhaps you would fall in love with her too.

She’s got an irresistible smile and a whole lot of love to give. 💕

Layla’s the type of baby that makes your days brighter. When she sees you coming of a morning, she is ready to love on you with her whole body just a’wigglin’ ☺️

Underneath all her playful energy, she’s really looking for someone to bond with. She wants to follow you everywhere. She wants to be by you at all times. I know this girl is meant to bond with someone special.

She’s eager to learn, loves affection, loves loves lovvvves people, and ready to be with a family of her own.

Shes been in rescue her entire life. She doesn’t know what a home means. She doesn’t know what it means to be the center of a family— the holidays, the pajamas, the pup cups, the dog park, snuggling in bed watching movies. She doesn’t know ANY of that.

Interested in adopting but nervous about choosing a dog out of state? Good news! We completely understand and are here to make it as easiest for you as possible.

We do meet & greets, as well as video chats so potential adopters can see their personalities, how they interact, and get a genuine feel for who they are before making the commitment.

Fostering-to-adopt is an option we offer too. All you do is give Layla a soft spot to snooze away, and the rescue takes care of all expenses including vetting and getting the baby adopted.

Adopting a dog is a lifelong decision, and we don’t believe you should make that choice blindly. Our goal is to help you feel informed, comfortable, and excited about welcoming your newest family member.

Layla isn’t asking for much — just simply someone to notice her, a family to love, a little patience while she learns, some water to splash in, and a home where she’ll never have to pack her bags again. Unless it’s to the beach with her floaties.

Update 12:19PM: Someone has offered to help him and coordinating pickup of this sweet boy! Will keep everyone updated soon as I hear something! He’s definitely overdue for some extra love.

URGENT: who can foster/foster-to-adopt a papered Boston? I do not have this dog in my possession and have not met him. The woman who has him has admitted to “punching him in the head” when she doesn’t want to deal with him. She is willing to “give him to whoever” if I don’t get him. I don’t know if he’s neutered or UTD (but we will get both done). I don’t know how much he weighs, but she said he’s one of the “bigger bostons.” He’s 8 years old. I reached out to the email the CKC had on file with no response.

We have some very well behaved dogs. If you’ve been thinking about adding a dog to your family, please take a minute to look at the babies we have at the rescue.

These aren’t just dogs we post pictures of. We know them. We know who wants to be in your lap, who follows you everywhere, who wants to play all day, and who would be perfectly happy just lying beside you on the couch.

Every one of them ended up here for a different reason, but they’re all waiting for the same thing—someone to choose them.

So there was a big misunderstanding with Landmark Animal Clinic. We took one of our rescues there today because it was convenient for the foster. They were not happy we asked our donators to call there to donate if they wished & to not do it in the future. We were looking forward to adding them to do business with us. I sincerely thank you all for donating to our rescue & these dogs. We solely survive off donations. We understand some would rather donate straight to the vet and rightfully so. I want to extend my apologies to those that were turned away, but I also want to thank you for trying. We see you and I know you see us.

I guess we will have to stick to the ones we know.

The vet report from Chubbs’s appointment: the vet believes it was a snake bite. He noticed he also had a bad ear infection. Doc gave him 2 medicines including an antibiotic for his leg. So prayers for Chubbs to get better ❤️‍🩹

Update 11:37am: Chubbs is covered!! Thank you so much! I always say it takes a village! Will update after his appointment today.

Good morning. Chubbs needs our help and we’re running out of time.

He has an upcoming appointment today with Landmark Animal Clinic for his injured leg, and sadly we’ve barely raised anything to cover his bill. 😥

We’re asking for just $5 or $10. It may not seem like much, but those small donations all add up and make a difference. We can’t have a balance with them or we can’t take the next one that needs to see the vet.

Please help us give Chubbs the care he deserves. He’s literally counting on us. If yall could see his sweet roundest face in person, I know yall would love him 🥺
