Sheridan High School Interact Club

Interact is a service club at Sheridan High School that is affiliated with the local Rotary Club. Find out how serious leadership can be seriously fun!

The group learns about leadership, service above self and bringing goodwill to our communities. Take action, build international understanding, and make new friends around the world. Interact clubs bring together young people to develop leadership skills while discovering the power of Service Above Self. What are the benefits? Connect with leaders in your community and around the world to:

action to make a difference in your school and community

✔ Discover new cultures and promote international understanding

✔ Become a leader in your school and community

✔ Have fun and make new friends from around the world

What’s involved? Interact clubs organize at least two projects every year, one that helps their school or community and one that promotes international understanding. Rotary club sponsors mentor and guide Interactors as they carry out projects and develop leadership skills. The Sheridan High School Rotary Club has taken those project goals even further and strive to complete 1-2 projects PER MONTH. Come join these young leaders who make a difference in your school and community every day!

The Interactors enjoyed working at the Rotary fishing derby this past weekend. Thanks to Katie and Chloe for all your work! Special thank you to Rotary for providing all the food and supplies for lunch and to Susan Brayton for donating half of her winnings to the Interact Club. Additional thanks to Shari and Stan Peddicord, Bob Utter, Dave Oakes and Gary Dobson for all the assistance.
