Saturday we brought a team to the Dime Field Hockey Classic tournament for the 2nd year in a row. The SEYFH group fought hard and placed 3rd! Most importantly the group had fun and learned a lot. Thanks to all!

Today we brought two teams to a Section IV tournament in Greene. It was wet but fun. I had so many people comment on how happy they were to see Sherburne out there competing!!

KICKOFF PRACTICE IS 1 week away - Registration IS STILL OPEN

Practice Details:

We will hold practice from 9-10am for our Little Sticks (ages 5-6/7) and 9am-Noon for Middies and Strikers (ages 7/8 - 13) on July 26th at the Sherburne-Earlville Stadium turf field.

EACH PLAYER WILL LEAVE WITH FIELD HOCKEY BASICS, A FH BALL AND SOME SHERBURNE YOUTH FIELD HOCKEY MERCH.

*Warm up and field hockey basics
*Little Sticks (age 5-7) will break off for age appropriate drills and games
*Middies (age 8-10) and Strikers (age 11-13) will move through a series of drills to refresh and refine their skills
POPSICLE BREAK
*Players will be organized into teams for some fun competition to finish the practice

2025 Registration is OPEN!!
The initial registration covers the 2025 Kickoff Practice where each player will become familiar with the game, work through skills and drills and finish the 3hr practice with some fun competition. We will break kids into 3 pre-modified age groups: Little Stix (ages 5-6), Middies (ages 7-9) and Strikers (ages 10-13).
After the kickoff practice, players interested in developing their skills further and competing in the fall will have an opportunity to participate on teams (only for Middies and Strikers. Schedule is pending).
