The non profit side of Pygkids is closed. We will leave the page open for all to keep in touch.
The new management is moving the outreach portion of Pygkids to Nano's Kids. All instruments and music programs are disbanded and donated to other organizations.
It has been an honor to be there over these past ten years.
We love each and every one of you.

We have a young man that would love to play sax this coming school year. We do not have a sax. We have limited options. We can get one donated to us, we can look for one new and hope to raise the funds for it, we can find one at a pawn shop and raise the money to buy it. we can assist with the child renting the instrument.
For a GOOD used one we can get one roughly around 3 to 4 hundred range plus tax. So we are setting our six dollar sunday goal at 400.
Lets see what we can do together. we will keep you posted as to each and every donation. and we will post the purchase of the sax.

We have a child that wants to play saxophone at the beginning of the school year this coming year. We do not have one that has been donated in. The cost of getting one at a local pawn shop for us is going to be anywhere from $ 200 to $400 and the cost of purchasing one brand new is going to be anywhere up to $700. The cost of having to rent one throughout the course of the year for him to have one is going to be greater than the cost of getting one used at a second hand store. We also take check cash and money orders.

Ok my mechanic minded friends...
Working on a new program and want to know what the interest would be for some of you to mentor some kids.

Graduation Car Project would take between two to four years.

A youth would be paired up with a car and a mentor/mentors.

The goal is to work on that car until it's complete.

Starting freshman year in high school.

Then the youth would graduate high school with a car they actually worked on.

Grades a "c" average or higher would be a must for the student.

We would need a place to do the work.
We would need cars donated.
Mentors with car experience.

This could make a great car club project for some of our classic car friends.

So if you would be interested or if you're in a car club and your club would be interested, please get with us so we can work out details
Our board of directors would need a heads up if we can get enough interest so we can start planning and start fundraising for parts for the vehicles to be repaired.
