Your mayor and city council voted against a rezoning that would have provided a few acres for homeless veterans and people in ACTIVE recovery, while destroying 49 acres of wildlife, to stuff hundreds of people into salt well apartments on top of each for a dollar... HE CARES ABOUT PROFIT OVER PEOPLE AND HAS SINCE HE TOOK OFFICE.. we have not one resource in this city to help our less fortunate,needy, or displaced but 33 million HE spent OF OUR TOWNS $$$ and not one dollar went to help the most vulnerable in THIS/OUR CITY... Its TIME to let jose cubero know we dont tolerate that in the salt of the earth... we love thy neighbor as instructed... please voice your concerns using your vote when the time comes.. I will also post publicly the NO votes from city council so we can clean that panel of heartlessness too... TAKE YOUR CITY BACK. Jose assumes all homeless are criminals and wont have a vote....WE all know our town and it's people deserve better than Jose cubero.

Our mayor has contacted EMA and they are trying to get a school open to public for the heat. It's not now but it's not nothing. I'll keep yall posted and prayers we get the answer soon! He said je didn't want to do this for one or 2 people so would you or someone you know benefit from being able to get out of this heat?. Closed mouths don't get feed so please speak up if this would help our community members... stay safe Shepherdsville 🙏

There is a gym in the police station/mayor's office that's air conditioned and since our mayor Jose spent 33 million dollars of our grant money with nohelp for our houseless, YOU DESERVE AC IN 105 degrees... I would suggest stopping by there as as a group and asking if you can use the gym that we tax payers pay for!! Located right across the street from Walmart. Cold AC....

There is an E in the name missing but can't edit for 60 days.. same goals just name change. Shepherdsville finally has a white flag run by mark 12 ministries and now we can focus on helping people instead of not losing life at 32 degrees. Huge Thank you to Perry Cooke and Laura Cooke for all they do for the community.. please check out the Outreach Thrift store if you haven't already super awesome finds and way cheaper than good will. Right past BCDC on the right. 😁 They also have clothing vouchers for those in need.
