Last weekend Camp Crooked Creek was selected as one of the host sites for the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels Day of Service. A team of dedicated volunteers came out to stain and seal the bunkhouse. The same day we also received a new wheelchair assessable golf cart sponsored by the Honorable Order of Kentucky Colonels!

A special thank you to Kosair for Kids for helping make Adventure Camp possible!
Their generous support is providing bus transportation for campers attending Adventure Camp at Camp Crooked Creek, removing barriers that might otherwise prevent children with physical, developmental, or cognitive disabilities from participating.
Adventure Camp gives thousands of youth the opportunity to experience camp in a safe, inclusive environment filled with outdoor adventures, new friendships, and memories that last a lifetime.
Thank you, Kosair for Kids, for helping ensure transportation isn't an obstacle to an unforgettable camp experience.

Scouts at Camp Crooked Creek exemplifying the Scout Oath and Law. Thank you for sharing this inspiring message.
Camp Crooked Creek

"Yesterday, I started cleaning up the basketball court to clear all the gravel and mud left by the heavy rains on Sunday. I asked some scouts from my troop, Troop 155, to get me some tools. When they brought them back from our site, they jumped in to help and didn't stop until the whole court was done. As they were working, other scouts from Troop 765 came to help for as long as they could until they needed to get to the first dinner. I am SO proud of all the work they did, especially without being asked. This was not a small task, but they were committed to finishing so other scouts could get back to playing. I just wanted to recognize them for living the Scout Oath and Law yesterday."
