I know you feel broken right now.

I know you feel the weight of it all.

I know you feel cast down.

I know you feel afflicted.

I know you feel forgotten.

I know you feel weary.

I know you feel the heat from the fire.

I know you feel bruised.

But, God told me to remind somebody that bruised heels still crush serpents.

The enemy might be trying to destroy you, but he will not overcome you.

He may be striking where it hurts the most, but he will not defeat you.

What he meant for harm, God is going to use for good.

This season will be a defining moment in your life.

You will come to the other side of this fight carrying the scars from the battle but those scars will be seeds for the harvest that is coming.

What you have sown in tears you will reap in joy.

The crushing eventually ends, then the oil begins to flow.

There is an anointing that is birthed in the pressing that can’t be produced any other way.

There is a holy grit that comes when you endure the storm that gives you staying power.

You may find yourself at the midnight hour, when it seems the darkest, but it’s always darkest right before the light of a new dawn breaks through.

You may be standing in a valley surrounded by dead things, but I hear some bones beginning to rattle.

The enemy may think he has the upper hand, he may think that the battle belongs to him, but he also thought that the cross was his idea.

What looks like defeat now, will look like resurrection soon.

Get ready.

It’s about to shift.

You are about to crush some serpents.

International Overdose Awareness Day is Wednesday, August 31st. With it being on a weeknight, we will be hosting the vigil on Saturday, August 27th. This is the first event since the COVID pandemic hit. As always, it is FREE and will be held at the pavilion at Shepherdsville City Park on 1st Street. Feel free to share your loved one's story, listen to others. Support each other. Bring your signs, photos, wear your shirts. Quetzal Food Truck will be available, entertainment by Big Town Entertainment, prayer will be led by Pastor Nick Towles from Impact Shepherdsville.
