INSIDE THE BROTHERHOOD | 002 • WHITE THREAD

For generations of Rangers, a Ranger Tab sewn with white thread could tell you something before a word was ever spoken.

It means winter.

It's an old Ranger tradition associated with those who earned their Tab during the winter months, when the cold, wet and unforgiving conditions of Ranger School added another layer of misery to an already demanding course.

The white thread isn't a different Tab.

And it isn't a different qualification.

It is simply a small mark that says:

I was there.
I remember the cold.
And I made it through.

That's what makes the Ranger Tab more than a piece of cloth.

A stitch.
A color.
A season.
A memory.

That's what lives inside the brotherhood.

Leave us a message of your white threaded tab if you have one.

Yesterday, The Gator Lounge was proud to help sponsor the WBS Charity Foundation’s 6th Annual Golf for Charity event in Shepherdsville, KY.

It was a great day on the course for an even better cause, with proceeds going to support Paws-Ability, Inc. and their mission of providing no-cost service dogs to veterans, first responders and correctional officers.

Thank you to WBS Charity Foundation for putting on a great event, and to Paws-Ability for the incredible work they do.

Supporting Rangers, their families, and the veteran community will always be at the heart of The Gator Lounge.
