This is what happens when you get an urgent request from the Red Cross at Ft Knox to help fuel incoming cadets for summer training. Thank you VFW Post #5710 and Auxiliary for always answering the call!

Allie Phillips is in Jewish South / U of L Hospital in Brooks, room 311. She went there yesterday and is being treated for possible heart/kidney issues. Please lift Allie in prayer for comfort and healing.

🇺🇸 Today, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5710 Commander David Dunford hosted a meaningful Memorial Day service honoring the brave veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice for our nation.

The ceremony featured guest speaker Peyton Griffee,who shared remarks recognizing the courage, dedication, and sacrifice of America’s fallen service members and their families.

The Bullitt Central High School JROTC Color Guard proudly participated in the service, presenting the colors with honor and respect during the ceremony.

The event served as a heartfelt tribute to those who gave their lives in service to the United States, reminding the community that freedom comes at a great cost and that the sacrifices of our fallen heroes will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸
