Tell Governor Morrisey to support West Virginia families in need!

The WV Legislature has approved annual funding to help Family Support Centers, provide childcare subsidies, fund clothing vouchers and make Legal Aid available. These are necessary services that WV families rely on.

The governor has delayed sending these funds as typically scheduled, and has hinted that he will withhold it based on a manufactured “deficit” of his own creation. There is also a concern that he is contemplating sending this money to businesses owned by his out of state supporters. (See WV Watch Article https://westvirginiawatch.com/2026/05/27/while-tanf-cuts-loom-morrisey-considers-giving-money-to-education-group-linked-to-his-donations/)

>>>>> We need all of our voices to apply public pressure to the governor to do the right thing. Take a moment to call the governor’s office at 304-558-2000 or fill out this quick online action alert from our friends at the Legislative Action Team for Children and Families.
