Communication Outreach of Jefferson County, WV Defined

The objectives of Communication Outreach of Jefferson County are to:
1. Develop and continue to nurture an ongoing direct relationship between the residents of Jefferson County and the state of West Virginia.
2. Share information and concerns, likes and dislikes of the people from Jefferson County within both the county and the state.
3. Deve

lop a large enough organization in order that smaller groups will be able to take turns in making regular trips to Charleston.
5. Host Jefferson County Day, annually, at the Capitol in Charleston. Communication Outreach of Jefferson County members will make regular trips to Charleston, support our elected officials, and be dedicated to the people of Jefferson County while developing and cultivating good relationships around our state.
6. Meet with West Virginia state legislators and develop relationships between counties to optimize our strengths and strengthen our weaknesses.
7. Sit in on West Virginia state committee meetings that pertain to Jefferson County.
8. Collect and disseminate information to the residents of Jefferson County through local governments, the media and other outlets.
9. Hold an annual dinner to host our governor of West Virginia.
