Parents - We haven’t given up on this idea. If your daughter meets membership criteria and you can help run a troop, my daughter and I can work to launch it. We need 4 more scouts and a lady leader at a minimum to start a troop. Please let me know and help recruit.

We’re still here and still hoping to launch a troop. We have two girls interested (one is already in a distant troop but wants to be local). We need three more plus parents who can help. Please reach out if you want to help start Troop 99!

Mountaineers - we still very much want to get this troop started. We have three girls (need five minimum). We need two more girls (6th - 12th grade OR 5th grade with a completed AOL from Cub Scouts) and at least one lady leader. Please message me or call 571-236-0866.

We are a new Scouts BSA Girls Troop (the only one in Jefferson County) in the Potomac District of the Shenandoah Area Council. Our troop will focus on leadership, character, and the outdoors through traditional scouting activities like patrol outings and troop camping, service projects, rank advancement, and merit badges. Scouting prepares young people to make ethical and moral choices over their lifetimes based on the values of the Scout Oath and Law.
