Monthly Meeting of
Veterans & Auxiliary
10 May 2023 @ 7 PM
There will be the last round of elections for Post Officers followed by the swearing in of the newly elected Officers.
We need all present officers present at this meeting if at all possible and as many post veterans as can possibly attend.
This is your post and it's success and future depend upon your
participating in the post functions and business activities. We have contributed a lot to our community in the past several years but these tasks have always fell upon a just few members. We need more members to step forward to support the post.
We are not just a Club Room with Charitable Gaming but a post that's purpose is to support our countries veterans and their families and our community here in Shenandoah.
This task will fall to the new officers that are elected tomorrow night and they need all the support that you can give them to see the successful future for Avis O Comer VFW Post 8613 in Shenandoah Virginia. It is our duty to those that have gone before us in this post to see that this happens. I want to thank the members that have supported for the last 4 years.

We are in bad need for members to fill officer positions
If these officer positions are not filled the VFW National will pull the Post Charter
We are not only a Canteen and Club with Charitable Gaming Privileges but a working Post for our community

PLEASE ATTEND THIS MEETING AS INFORMATION ABOUT THE NEW VIRGINIA CHARITABLE GAMING LAWS WILL BE DISCUSSED AND IMPACT THAT IT WILL HAVE ON YOUR POST.

On Sunday, February 19th, the Shenandoah VFW Post 8613 Auxiliary, will be having their 75th Anniversary celebration from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Light refreshments will be served. This event is open to the public. The Shenandoah VFW is located at 1103 Varina Avenue, Shenandoah, VA 22849.
