The Shelton School District is offering a free summer meal program for any child 18 and younger at Shelton High School and Mt. View Elementary School!

Summer Food Service Program Hours & Locations:

In just 9 days, recovery housing operators, staff, peers, and community leaders from across Washington will gather in Bremerton for the 2026 WAQRR Leadership Summit.

Over two days, attendees will explore best practices in recovery housing, workforce development, accreditation, leadership, resident engagement, and the future of recovery support services. Whether you are new to recovery housing or have been in the field for years, the Summit is an opportunity to learn, connect, and grow alongside others committed to quality recovery housing.

Lacey Youth Council applications are now open! LYC is an advisory body to the Lacey City Council. This opportunity allows youth to have their voice and ideas heard by the City's leadership.

Any upcoming sophomores, juniors, or seniors attending public, private, or home schools in the Lacey area are encouraged to apply. As part of the YLC, selected students will:

- Learn about local government.
- Provide feedback to the City on a variety of topics.
- Participate in community projects.
- Meet new people.
- Earn 30+ hours of community service OR a stipend of $50 per meeting attended, up to $500 a year.
