💡 Did You Know?

Every year, an estimated 4.2 million youth and young adults experience homelessness in the United States. Of those, approximately 700,000 are unaccompanied minors, meaning they are navigating homelessness without a parent or guardian.

Behind every statistic is a young person who deserves safety, stability, and a place to belong.

At The Youth Connection, we work to prevent and end youth homelessness in Mason County through more than just meeting immediate needs. We do this through building resilience in youth we work with through holiday celebrations, trips, and recognition. Providing resources and connections that can get someone out of homelessness and into stability. And addressing risk factors by supporting high school completion, strengthening family relationships when possible, and helping youth build a foundation for the future.

Together, we can make a difference in the lives of youth in our community.

Just a reminder we have secured storage available for youth 12-24 who may need a safe and dry space to keep your things! Come by and ask our front staff about getting a locker space if you need one.
