Please stop by Plumb Memorial Library’s Children’s Department and pick one up.

Plus Plumb’s Children’s Department will also host a DROP-IN 🦖🦕DINOVEMBER program from Monday, 10/2 through Wednesday, 10/25.

🦖🦕This is a special dinosaur celebration of games & activities geared for visiting children
of ages Babies-12 yrs. old.
NO Registration is needed.

📌Special Note: The Harry Potter books in the photos have exquisite artwork, if you are a fan of this book series, I highly recommend you come borrow one of these new interactive & vivid books with stunning illustrations by MinaLima Studios.

📚🪪Please remember to bring your CT library card so you can easily borrow one of these books in the photos plus many others not in the photos too.

Hosted “Little Lotus Yoga” for children 1-4 yrs old this week 9/29/26 at Plumb Memorial Library with our patient, talented & so kind yoga instructor, Ms. Krista of Krista’s Kids Yoga.

Our young yogis and their caregivers:
🧘🏻‍♀️tried new yoga poses,
📖listened to a yoga book,
☯️and used some provided yoga props to learn about stretching, balance and breathing too.

💕Special thanks to Ms. Krista for always creating a peaceful & supportive yoga teaching space.

👍Thanks to Plumb’s Custodian, Mr. Billy for setting-up our yoga space & for cleaning the rugs too.

👏Thanks to our young yogis & their caregivers for trying something new at the library.

Interested in trying this out with your child ages 1-4 yrs. Old?

Plumb Memorial Library will be offering this program again in October 2026.

🎉🐾 THE VOTES ARE IN... MEET PABU!
❤️ After making Beardsley Zoo history with his arrival on June 24, Pabu now has a name chosen by all of YOU. His new name means “fluffball” in Tibetan, a fitting choice for our growing red panda cub!

Thank you to everyone who voted and helped welcome this very special little guy to the Beardsley Zoo family. We can’t wait for you to watch Pabu grow!
